Life Cycle of a Yarnblob

Here we see the "egg" - the very beginning of the Yarnblob life cycle:

Note that there are no umbilicals sticking out of either end:

After a bit of assistance breaking out of the egg:

After a bit of straightening, we can see evidence of the parent Yarnblob:

After a bit more winding, we find another, smaller sibling:

And another:

And yet another, larger sibling; what a rare and exciting discovery to find Yarnblob quadruplets in captivity!

At last, all Yarnblobs smoothed out:

But don't be sad; many good eggs end up in cakes ;-)
