Cabled Yarnblob

Not all yarnblobs are created by spooling yarn. Sometimes they happen right on your needles:

This was a test swatch for a dice bag. I decided not to use the cable pattern. No sense storing dice in a yarnblob.

    Ooh, that's annoying. But at least it was just a swatch and not a finished product, right?

    Oh yeah, I am definitely glad it was just a test swatch; it would have taken the whole spool to do the thing I was trying to do. If I'd done the 4 repeats of the cable pattern I was planning only to find out it wouldn't work, I'd have been very unhappy, especially given how difficult this particular dice bag has been to try and design. Fortunately for my sanity, I'm almost finished with it (I chose a simpler design), so I'll be posting pics of it soon.
